Parish of St. Isidore-the Worker
Address: Navalas, Buenavista, Guimaras
It is the oldest Roman Catholic Church in the Province of Guimaras that was built in 1880-1885. Presently, the outside front view of the church still remain as it is; while the ceilings and structures inside the church were already redesigned.
It has a belfry at the entrance gate of the church where bells hanged. The bigger bell is about four feet tall, and when rang, its sound could reached to the long distant place about three barangays next from the church. When the Muslims heard the bell ringing, they searched it and rubbed it. Quickly, they took the big bell and run away. And when the Muslim raiders noticed that the residents were running after them, they dump the bell into the sea near Isla de Siete Picados.
